Re: Collingshyte- we have them covered
I don't understand it.
Pies midfield has always made Cloke look better than he probably is...
They are still really good though.
Is it because Cloke and Dawes are out of form at the same time?

Hawthorn are just that good. The Pies have us covered unless we improve quite a margin.
Re: Collingshyte- we have them covered
yes, the hawks are very very good.....but i'm disappointed in their coach.....in my view only bogans, criminals and general trailer park scum put their fists through walls in fits of anger.......poor show really...and an act he will never live down...imhfo....Old Mate wrote:Hawthorn are just that good. Re: Collingshyte- we have them covered
Hawthorn have upped their pressure when they don't have the ball.
Don't scare me though, pretty up and down this year, and could be beaten.
Interestingly I thought Buddy missing made them look more dangerous today, long term Lewis and Bruest aren't going to get 10 between them because they would get time put into them now...but for today it paid off.

Re: Collingshyte- we have them covered
Its a bloody funny season, even the teams up the top of the ladder are all capable of putting in a regular shocker . And the middle range teams like our beloved Saints are capable of beating anyone if they turn up switched on.
I guess the Crows & Hawks or Swans are prob flag favs now, but give it another week and it could all change.
Gonna be a ripper of a finals series
Unless of course the Maggotpies win the flag and then its going to be an unbearable finals series But going by today the Maggots are far from unbeatable.

If the pies lost to PT adelaide, North and the Tigers we might have them covered.

So what it's got to do with who we've lost to?plugger66 wrote:Leo.J wrote:So you can't improve during a season?plugger66 wrote:If the pies lost to PT adelaide, North and the Tigers we might have them covered.

Rather than how we are going now, and how they are going now.

Well i think they are going pretty well. Again why would them losing to the Hawks suggest we can beat them. Some of you people need to worry about tomorrow. The pies have nothing to do with us at the moment.

Re: Collingshyte- we have them covered
I'm still trying to work out why the fact that we lost a few games to certain teams earlier in the season means that we couldn't potentially beat someone now.
I don't think Sydney will be too worried that we beat them earlier in the year.

Re: Collingshyte- we have them covered
It doesn't but it has as much relevance as who beat us weeks ago.plugger66 wrote:Leo.J wrote:I'm still trying to work out why the fact that we lost a few games to certain teams earlier in the season means that we couldn't potentially beat someone now.

No the positions on the ladder have relevance and also the thread was started because the Hawks beat the pies. Means jack.

IMO positions on the ladder have little relevance also.plugger66 wrote:Leo.J wrote:It doesn't but it has as much relevance as who beat us weeks ago.plugger66 wrote:Im still trying to work out how the Hawks beating the pies means we can beat them.
