Round 17 Team
In: Goddard, Steven, Milera
Extended bench: Milera, Siposs, Jones, Schneider, Ray, Wilkes, Dunell

Re: Round 17 Team
Well it is down to 3 to be dropped because obviously CJ, Siposs and Schneider are safe.
Re: Round 17 Team
I reckon it's between Ray or Dunell for the sub spot..
Wilkes out, Milera more VFL time...
Tough call...

Re: Round 17 Team
If Ray gets dropped or demoted to sub, that's really not form related Scott might just not like him..

Anyone know why Newnes is out of the Sandy team? Injury? Abduction? On Strike? Cheers

According to a poster on the BF Saints board - Newnes still has a Quad injury....trojansaint wrote:Anyone know why Newnes is out of the Sandy team? Injury? Abduction? On Strike? Cheers

Re: Round 17 Team
I'm happy to be howled down but I don't think Schneider is on fire. His disposal and endeavour are great but is he actually getting enough of the ball?
He doesn't turn it over or lack decisive action like Jones but for me - maybe Schneider out for Dunnell to remain in.

Was there on the outer wing as a youngster flying the flag in '66 - still loyal, still passionate!

He did do an interview about playing the Swans, so you could be right...quidnunc wrote:I'm happy to be howled down but I don't think Schneider is on fire. His disposal and endeavour are great but is he actually getting enough of the ball?

Ray has to you'd think.
I'll stick with Milera, Dunnel, and Wilkes to miss.

Re: Round 17 Team
I reckon 9 out of every 10 of us think this will be the side. Therefore be prepared for a possible shock. Maybe Steven's spot isn't as assured as we all think. Many think we have gone too soft on him.desertsaint wrote:Milera won't play.plugger66 wrote:Well it is down to 3 to be dropped because obviously CJ, Siposs and Schneider are safe.

He has been great, one of the most important players at our clubquidnunc wrote:I'm happy to be howled down but I don't think Schneider is on fire. His disposal and endeavour are great but is he actually getting enough of the ball?

Re: Round 17 Team
yeah, i like him because his ball use is as smart as anyone in the place. forward of center he just makes things happen in the same way milne does. and he knows how to find it a bit. no way i'd be dropping him.BringBackMadDog wrote:He has been great, one of the most important players at our clubquidnunc wrote:I'm happy to be howled down but I don't think Schneider is on fire. Re: Round 17 Team
Ray is unlucky, appears to be viewed as the very defintion of a fringe player.
The biggest compliment I can give him though, is I fully expect him to continue to work hard and not sulk, as never appears to indulge in a woe is me mentality.
Steven would want to play the game of his life.

Very surprised to see Ray tipped out - unless there is a late change due to injury

Re: Round 17 Team
I do like the idea of Dunnel likely in the green again though, perfect burst/impact player.

Re: Round 17 Team - Final
I really don't like seeing guys dumped after being an integral part of getting us a win last week, Farren will be looking for a new home next year you would think.MCG-Unit wrote:Very surprised to see Ray tipped out - unless there is a late change due to injury
