Dirty tactics by the Roos?
They obviously came with a game plan to upset the Saints with a lot of niggle but I thought some of it went over the top. But well done to them it worked a treat and upset the team after the first quarter.
However.....
Did anyone else see Harvey knee Dempster in the head in the 2nd quarter that led to a soft 50? Thought it was a dog act and hope he gets done!

Just remember who their coach is. Dog acts should be obvious.
A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

Re: Dirty tactics by the Roos?
Not only were they sniping little s***s but they were benefiting from it with the umpires penalising our players instead of the instigators

Got sucked in though
Milne ends up with his shirt ripped off, and he gets penalised.

heard something was said to Milne and it was in the line of what Malthouse said a few years back but alot worse.
People on the fence heard what was said they think it was disgusting.
Don't blame him for getting heated he has taken this for 8 years.

Because he did the wrong thing. lets face it they out muscled us and out played us. We also have a coach that refuses to worry about defence but we dont have a forward line to beat the better sides.

Yes, I saw it and commented at the time. L1 Aisle 36. It could go either way. Someone else suggested that Harvey may have also given Dempster one to the guts immediately prior to this incident !!Buckets wrote:

Re: Dirty tactics by the Roos?
Nothing wrong with that - just means they wanted it a lot more than the Saints did!
SAINTS another day older another day closer to the Holy Grail!
Re: Dirty tactics by the Roos?
yup. if we're sooking about minor tricks which occur in every footy game ever then we may as well give up now.WinnersOnly wrote:Nothing wrong with that - just means they wanted it a lot more than the Saints did!
Re: Dirty tactics by the Roos?
Kneeing a bloke in the head 50 metres off the play, while he is laying on the ground is not fair game never has been never will be!
If something has been said by the Roos players to Milney I say time for the club to complain.
Oh and dirty tactics are called dirty for a reason. Most of the time dirty tactics are outside the laws of the game.

Re: Dirty tactics by the Roos?
Firitto's elbow to Saad was the worst of the lot. Saad was doubled over and in a fair bit of pain for at least 60 seconds afterwards. I've seen our blokes rubbed out for a lot less, even Kosi got a week early this year for the same thing.

Brent Harvey gets to go home and bang a whale looking dog pig.

Going to be a bit of MRP action both ways I'd suggestSt Chris wrote:Firitto's elbow to Saad was the worst of the lot. Re: Dirty tactics by the Roos?
I wish we played like that. We did against the Blues but have since lost a bit of mojo. All I saw was a good tough game with both sides giving as much as each other.
