Re: New Editor-In-Chief of The Age...
He's also looking forward to taking his young family to the footy to watch his beloved St Kilda. It'd be a bonus if they won.
The diehard Saints' fan has been at each of their grand finals since 1971, with the exception of the replay against Collingwood in 2010.
The 51-year-old never really got a handle on that game those Kiwis are so passionate about.
"I'm obviously looking forward to getting back to the footy. Try as has hard as I have I still don't really understand rugby," Holden said.
"St Kilda did well in '65, and of course they won in '66, so I was convinced they were a great team, and have been disappointed ever more."

That's so funny the first thing I thought of when I saw the name of the thread was Captain of the Titanic.Gina will lance him if she gets a position on the board and the company will probably collapse if they don't go along with her whims.

I don't mind Caroline Wilson actually. She's a good journalist and a good writer. If you look at her history, she is just as hard on any other team. We didn't help ourselves much with the 2010/2011 off-season, and she called us on it; fine by me. I always read her articles and easily prefer hers to Connolly's or others.

Someone called in to SEN saying she actually stirs things up in footy unlike the old boys club who don't step on their mates shoes. Pretty fair point, she s***s me but at least it's a different view.

Caro is a Shyte stirrer but always worth reading and listening to.
One of the best in the business due to her confrontational style, but with some intellengence and substance unlike rat Hutchy.
