Then I wish he would sign a new contract and stop the speculation

Hey, this was a lie detector test that police use in their investigations.

The question was: "Are you leaving St.Kilda?"

Answer: (after a moments pause) "No."

The test detector gave the answer the thumbs up.

You've gotta be happy with that!

What more do you want?

Other questions included:

-Are you better than Nick Dal Santo? ANSWER: "Yes." - Thumbs up.
-Do you think Milne hogs the ball too much sometimes? "Yes." - Thumbs up.
-Are you happy wiht 'free agency? "Yes." - Thumbs up.
-Are you the best sledger at St.Kilda? "I've been told I am, actually, yes." -Thumbs up.
- Are you seriously going to pursue a golf career after your football career? "No." -Thumbs up.
-Are you happy with the new facility at Frankston? (Pause) "No." -Thumbs up (ooooooohhh)
-Is Scott Watters bordering on midget size? - He said yes without saying the words "yes."

I can't remember the other three questions, but there was one when he was detected to have lied. It was pretty inconsequential, though.

though.
Didn't say I wasn't happy, and what more I was is for the contract to be sorted along with any other players off contract.

Negotiations are between the club and bj's manager. There's nothing more bj can do.

if he's got no control over his manager then he should probably get a new one.

I think hungry means that BJ has indicated he wants to stay, and it's the club that hasn't taken it further.

Now I remember!

The question was: "Do you believe you will finish in the top 4 this year?"

Answer: "Yes."

Thumbs down - lie.

It was funny watching him answer because it seemed that he knew that he didn't really believe that we'll finish top four but such is the nature of the beast that even though he knew he didn't really believe it and even though he knew he'd be caught out he still just couldn't bring himself to say "no." As a footballer, you've got to force yourself to believe you'll win even when your reasonable self tells you you can't. Well, I guess, as supporters, we tell ourselves that, too. Who here dare's claim that they haven't at least partially convinced themselves that we might win the flag this year? I don't. I reckon we can hit top gear at the right time and win it.

But I ask you, who are we really lying to, friends, who are we really lying to?

OR

Is it possible that if you believe something enough, it becomes true?? The first step to doing anything is believing you can do it. Maybe that's the secret. To have so much believe that you just know you are going to do what you set out to do.....

Okay, I'm going to get up and walk through my wall. I truly believe I can do it 100%. After all, I'm mostly empty space, the wall is mostly empty space, so it is entirely possible, and I don't just believe it, I KNOW it. Okay, here I go. Be right back.

well I look forward to that great game he plays each GF....whens the next one?

meanwhile, Dal Santo keeps racking up brownlow votes and copping the weekly hard tag for some odd reason...

Played a lot more good games than a couple of GF.

Silly argument though, different positions, different players.
