No miracle comebacks here
5 early goals to Werribee puts them double Sandy score

Re: VFL Rd 12 Sandringham vs Werribee- Scores
very disapointing considering the amount of saints listed players in the side.
i hope scotty and mcphee rip into them. they are on decent coin and need better performances than that

Best players anyone?
I take it no one put their hand up for promotion to the Seniors against North?

Re: VFL Rd 12 Sandringham vs Werribee- Scores
My comment post game was some of those playing today may worry about Senior Saints needing a game next week- ala Ben, Sam and Rhysborderbarry wrote:Best players anyone?

Werribee were very good defensively- alway had 6 back with not a sandy player in sight
always managed to get it out of Sandy forward line quickly and efficiently
which program is it that is looking for the quickest goal from defence- I feel Werribee did it today- Kick 1- to centre line kick 2 to forward line kick 3 - goal
I tried doing a head count several times as tehre defintily seemed to be more players in Black and yellow than in Blue
and Majak is one Big man.- they seemed bigger over the ground
maybe the colour did affect them- would some of the Saints players not have played in the blue strip?
Players who seemed to get it as bit or that I was able to notice-Curren tried, Markworth a couple of good marks
Ledger and Ray were about, Peake was seen
Sikora tried hard, Dowler saved a few, BUT in reality although Sandy won two quarters- they were thumped in the other 2- no one could take heart// IMhumble O
as I said from development- Cameron as I could pick him

Re: VFL Rd 12 Sandringham vs Werribee- Scores
I got down there for the second half. Thought Sandringham were in with a chance at three quarter time, if we could just kick the first couple. Unfortunately it ended up as one way traffic in the other direction.
Didn't get to focus on the game closely because I always had one eye on my toddler, who was running around and jumping in puddles. I was looking out for Farren, but couldn't actually find him! Polo and Ledger finished on the bench. Sandringham's delivery into the forward line wasn't the best, which didn't give the forwards a lot of chances. It was a wet day too, but that didn't seem to bother Werribee too much.

and the highlights
Match Report - By Nick Ciantar
Werribee played Sandringham at Avalon Airport Oval on Sunday, in what was expected to be a great game. It turned out to be all about Werribee, with a comprehensive 79 point victory. Werribee won 20.16:136 to Sandringham's 8.9:57.
In wet and gloomy conditions Sandringham started off well, kicking the first goal of the game through Jamie Cripps. The first quarter went goal for goal, with Nathan Ablett’s return to the VFL including a goal for the Tigers. At the end of the first quarter, the Zebras led by 5 points, in what looked like an exciting game of footy.
