yeah, strong side. few injuries for the saints so only eight sandy-listed players here. midfield looks very strong, and defence looks pretty good too if simpkin and geary get in there. forward line pretty mercurial, could be the only weakness.

staley named for his first senior game too, good to see him progressing.

** 24 months ago. Spent half last year on sidelines with knee injury, returned for 2nd half season. Then got another knee injury over preseason and then when nearly set for comeback got infection in knee (or it may have just been an infection in first place) which sidelined him til last week. Will be back up in seniors soon you'd think, as soon as he gets some matches under his belt. Also Michael Lourey just returned from knee injury so he will proabably need to squeese into Zebs seniors (leading goalkicker last year etc)

Fair to say due to Saints list being so healthy it flows down to Zebs and makes them extremely strong which is good as we play 4th, 2nd & 1st in next 3 weeks (we are 3rd)

Marigliani did a pre-season with STK

He did a knee early this year and missed 10 weeks

First game back in the twos last week

He would be in the highest paid at Sandy..... When fit he will walk into the firsts

staley named for his first senior game too, good to see him progressing.

Staley played last week at Frankston in Seniors - number 40. Just a game, got the feel of it, played deep forward, good size for a forward though needs to grow into it. Also strong leap. Runs across ground very similar to 'Marky' (Markworth)

Any reports on him today?

Tigers slowed and Zebs fought it out but their defense was solid and Zebs forward structure scrambled
