Seating for Essendon Game- on sale THIS WEEK
to ensure we fill areas with saints rather than allow Bombers to infiltrate
10:06 AM Tue 12 Jun, 2012
Mon, Jun 11, 12A REMINDER to members that this will be a designated seat match at Etihad Stadium. Designated seat matches require all General Admission members to upgrade their entry entitlement to a reserved seat. Upgrading means your membership barcode will not gain entry to the game, instead you will be issued with a reserved seat ticket to scan for entry.
We recommend that you upgrade your membership as soon as possible to be allocated the best available seats^ for watching the Saints play the Bombers.
A release of seating on Levels 1, 2 and 3 within the St Kilda Members seat allocations will be made at 9am Wednesday 13 June. To ensure you sit amongst Saints members remember to upgrade your general admission membership from 9am tomorrow.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Have your General Admission barcode/s with you when you are ready to upgrade. If you wish to sit with other members as a group you will need to upgrade your memberships at the same time to be allocated seats together.
All Level 3 public general admission seating (Designated seating) will be on sale from 9am Friday 15 June at the booking fee only.

I assume designated reserved seat holders wont need a ticket and can still use their barcode on membership ticket to access ground? or is a ticket required for these also?

HOME GAME: Reserved seat holders already have a seat, so all you need to do is scan and proceed to your seat !!Teflon wrote:I assume designated reserved seat holders wont need a ticket and can still use their barcode on membership ticket to access ground? or is a ticket required for these also?

What I got from that poorly (maybe strategically) worded article was to reserve a seat at only the booking fee is opened on Friday.
Checked this morning also, and couldn't book. Just to make sure.
Anyone experience something different. Yell out.

Got my tickets, Level 1 Aisle 38 Now here's hoping Milney plays the next 3 games and my flight back to Aus isn't delayed! I'm sick of the Bombers getting up against us, here's hoping things are about to change - it is a Saturday night at Etihad - pretty good record at this time and venue

All ticketed games mean smaller crowds as people no show on $3 booking fee tickets.
Do we get a cut on F&B sales at Etihad?

So I can turn up with a General Admission ticket on the night and if I get there early enough sit in Row G on the top level?
So I wasted time getting all our barcodes together for nothing!!!!!
What's going on.
Have we re-employed that Scottish idiot?

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
