Good and looking better as far as I'm concerned. A real win for the season.PakenhamSaint wrote:Any updates on his condition after his headclash during the 3rd QTR?

Re: Saad.
Saad was quoted as sitting up OK in the rooms. He had the neck brace off.
Siposs was equared to Aaron Hamill in style and shape.
Dal and Newnes regularly miscalled. They were mixed up several times and Newnes was later called to be moving in a similar way to Dal. Hopefully he develops the same skills.
Great efforts guys. Good percentage booster. Percentage should be 124.5% now.

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.
You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

Re: Saad.
Milera's not doing much lately though. Only had 14 possies and only 57% disposal efficiently - the worst tonight!
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

I think you'll find though what he does do right is extremely valuable.Jacks Back wrote:Milera's not doing much lately though. Only had 14 possies and only 57% disposal efficiently - the worst tonight!
Just needs to work on the silly stuff and maintain confidence in himself.

Have loved the courage shown by our players for the ball so far this season.
Way to take one for the team, Ahmed!

Re: Saad.
Unfortunately for Saadie , he visited Molly through the week who did nothing but talk about Head ,
Obviously he thought he should lead with his more .

Re: Saad.
Hard head but they could have at least strapped him up like a mummy
And the president said " I did not have sex with that woman"
And our former president said " Football is like golf"
Go Sainters !!!!!

Re: Saad.
If you look at the incident, his technique was poor in the contest and he left himself open for head high contact. He needed to bump side on, or go low and tackle the body. He got caught in between and just ran into upright him without protecting himself. Hopefully will do better in a similar situation next time.
His attack on the ball and man has been very good since he debuted, I was beginning to think he was lazy and inconsistent in his efforts at Sandy.
He has posed a great selection problem

Spot on BM. The Coaches will be all over it this week with him, reviewing what he could/should have done. It was a surprise thing that happened, needing a split second reaction. If you look at the incident, his technique was poor in the contest and he left himself open for head high contact. Re: Saad.
After watching a few VFl games last year I was pumped when we got him, he looked like a ready made Milne replacement. When Milera got going before him I started to lose hope that he could get it together at a higher level but he just keeps finding improvement.
He's a great story as he was still playing the roundball game not long ago. Compare him to Tom Williams from the dogs who was a rugby convert and it shows what an amazing effort it is to get where he is. I went out to dinner last night with some muslim people and they were all over the fact we had a Muslim at the Saints and was really interesting to see what an interest they took in AFL and the access they felt because of it.
I convinced they guy to swap from the Tigers to us - he had met Bachar Houli so had been convinced to claim he was a Tigers fan. He may not ever be a member but his kids probably will end up following an AFL team. Great way to access new markets and have an excitement machine as the bonus.
