Really like Newnes.
And Blakey puts us 44 points up. Somehow.
Saad's kicking action is beautiful. Why are they not all doing it?

I'm not sure if he's playing but Newness is killing it on SEN.

He's had 16 possessions so far at half time and is up to it tonight (at least). He is even lowering his eyes.Freebird wrote:Hows gram going...i think most here don't think hes up to it

Not much better on Foxtel.
Roos and Lynch aren't even trying to hide their bias.
You wouldn't even know how the Saints are going.

ps that so called dropping the ball by Milne, he had dropped the ball out of his hands when he got tacked, so he had disposed of the ball -not a free kick

Re: Game thread?
Best till 1/2 Time. Riewoldt, Hayes, Blake, Gram, Montagna, Clarke !!
NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!
Re: Game thread?
Agreed on Newnes - really looks a player.
Moves a bit like Dal. Backed into a pack in that qtr and made a courageous spoil.
Much better for the run last week. Getting better all the time. Got a bit of a blast from the forwards telling him to kick for goal right at the end of the 1st qtr but was trying to be team orientated.
Raph and Gwilt doing the job. Nice to see Raph going OK. Gilbo's disposal much better.
Thought Balkey would kick the goal. Got a sighter the other week from the exact same position at Etihad

Lance or James??

All Roos and Lynch are doing is talking crap during the match with no commentary going on. WTF!ozrulestrace wrote:Kate wrote:Very hard to follow the game on the radio. SEN commentary is crap.

I know it's like it a coaching clinic between Roosy and his good mate Al.
All about how to beat St Kilda. Nothing about how the Saints are actually playing.

Re: Game thread?
Hopefully he'll realise sooner rather than later that he can kick the ball, although a few others might also get the idea. It's that pressure thing, where a hand ball is the get out rather than a kick forward. I am yet to be convinced, bit if I was, our handball would need to improve 100%. It has been rare to see Geelong handball at a teammates feet over the last few years or directly to an opposition player. As bad as our kicking can be, our handball is much worse. I think all players should wear gloves. I'm fond of the idea.Verdun66 wrote:Newnes has done some excellent things. Starting to see what people like about him.
