A player can have only 10 possessions yet have a huge impact on the game, whilst a players can have 50 possessions and not have a meaningful influence.
Healthy debate is good btw, no need for anyone to attack other posters based on their opinion.
Gram seems to be one player who definitely divides opinions! Match committee has tough calls to make each week.
A voice of reason, agree with it all.
ANYWAY IMO....without lowering myself by baiting anyone

I think Gram played quite well and definately should be keeping his place.
However, to your point of using the Ablett game on the weekend to show that stats don't prove anything in my opinion you are using a bad example.
Comparing Daisy's game to that of Ablett is highly dubious.
One got 53 possessions against one of the toughest midfields while getting little or no support from his teammates, while Daisy starred in what can only be called a training run. Ablett was the best player on the ground and by some distance. His influence on the game was probably stopping the margin blowing out to 130+. If Daisy hadn't have played the difference would still have been around the 100 mark. So whose game had no impact?
Think Cripps will be out, injured or not. As to other changes, I've read posts where people are saying there may be minor injuries to Newnes, Kosi, Gilbert and Cripps. How would you know?
Not sure on Geary and I doubt Fisher will be ready yet. IF no injuries and no 'rests'..... Do they rest Hayes?
Cripps for mine looked like he was struggling, Newnes looks fresh and was good in patches so he should get another game, Schnieder looks unlikely because he's only played one rusty game of VFL so Raph more likely in for me. Although it's likely to be at least a bit of an easy run for him. Wouldn't risk Fisher if he'snot quite.

If I may;
I don't think Ledger is a chance this week as he hasn't played for nearly three weeks. I very much doubt Jones will go out as he is required to stop Ablett from getting the three Brownlow votes he craves so much. The other two ins & outs could be on the cards !!

or you could act like an adult and say, "I dont think Gram will be dropped, he kicked 2 goals in the last quarter"
Look, you can go down that path.
I prefer to express my POV.
ANYONE who thinks Gram deserves to be dropped based on his form vs The Tiggers is a nuffy IMO.
Is that better??
whatever your happy with I suppose. just enjoy the ins and outs threads until someone stops talking ins and outs and starts attacking someone elses thoughts! Cant see the point, your opinions can and only will be justified when team selection is done, before that it is just individuals giving their thoughts. My last question is this, if you met me in a pub or at a party and I said jee i dont like player X, would you call me a nuffy and say i had NFI or would you say, "I disagree, I think he goes ok"
I hope Gram gets cut. His pea-hearted attempts at 50/50 contests has aged me 10 years. He is so soft he makes Danyle Pearce look like Rambo on crack.
The more committed players you have, the higher team spirit, the more inspired across the board.
Sounds like we are going in unchanged. (according to person who seems to get access to teams before they are announced and has been spot on previously)
remember some card once said that James Hird was injured si often, he was built like a packet of crisps. the way things are going, Jamie might have a similar composition.
ps if there's no late changes I'll eat my hat.
