But he was ready to go 2 weeks ago, if we'd been playing WCE in Melbourne…stkildathunda wrote:Out for another 1-2 weeks it seems - http://www.saints.com.au/injuries/tabid ... fault.aspx
Watters obviously thinks that playing injury/selection games gives us some kind of advantage, seems ridiculous to me to be honest.

That's fine if he has. Just tell us. It's not that hard. Look.SainterK wrote:Nah
Reckon he re injured it
"Sam has agrivated his hamstring again at training. We hope he will be back after the bye". He was picked in the side the week after he did it FFS.
The only thing I miss about Ross being in charge. And it is only one thing. He didn't play these rediculous games. We have been playing them all season. Stop treating the fans like idiots. Ledger has been picked twice and not played when not injured. All 3 emergencies used one week. There have also been others.
Who are we trying to fool? And does it give us any advantage? I don't think so.

Looks like we're struggling with the exit of Misson or the new training regime that Watters has brought in, or both. Soft tissue injuries were close to non-existent in Misson's tenure. Just like Schneider, looks as though Fisher has had a relapse.

McEvoy is 2-3 weeks away, which is inline with initial 5-6 weeks. Will be back after the bye.saintspremiers wrote:1-2 weeks until resumes full training.

Re: sam fisher scan results?????
hammy's are certainly taking their toll and must be a real concern. I can recall that last year, in the rooms after matches, the boys were using "stretching tapes" or similar. I haven't seen them this year. It may be that they were a real help ??

Re: sam fisher scan results?????
In Fairness to Watters - When Fisher was interviewed on EMT he said that he did a hamstring last year and played the following week. At least he thought he had done one. Claimed that he pulled up really well during the week and managed to keep playing with it. Maybe it was the case that Fisher isn't very experienced with hamstring injuries and pushed it too hard thinking it would be like last year. As a consequence all he has done is aggravate a 2-3 week injury and blown it out to 5-6 weeks.
In any event if Fisher's hamstring is a 5 week injury from a minor tweek, it's incredibly bad management all round. From him and from our fitness department. VERY costly.

If what you say is indeed true, unfortunately our club won't cop it from the media though.....

what is an orbital fracture?
Scott mentioned on game day Sunday.
but don't look it up on imgaes on google if your squeamish- they give the worst examples ...
judging from where the sticky plaster was it's just above his left eye- near top of nose.

Re: sam fisher scan results?????
Hmm and Geary now is not even on the list.
Maybe we were all imagining things with his eye pissing out blood

Watters said he had a fracture but should be right for this week, so if this is the case why would he be on the injury list?
This obsession some of you have for DEMANDING to know our injuries from the club is infantile.
You have no right. Who in hell do you think you lot are?
Lance or James??
