Contact between the Sydney Swans' Ben McGlynn and St Kilda's Jack Steven from the third quarter of Saturday's match was assessed. Stevens is in the process of leaving the field before the next bounce, while McGlynn was moving into the centre to take up his position for the resumption of play. The down-the-ground vision showed that both players were moving on their line for some distance, and neither player altered his direction. Contact is made between the pair as they cross paths. It was the view of the panel that McGlynn did not actively change direction to bump Steven and no further action was taken.

Move to Sydney then. It's just how it is.

joey didn't change his path to whack that soft carlton handbag last season either. Only difference was the Robert Walls trial by video by the commentary team.

Hasnt the Steven incident been mentioned in the media? pretty sure it has. Who cares anyway. Obviously some. I just hope no saints got weeks this week.

Ben McGlynn cleared contact Jack Steven. McGlynn did not actively change direction to bump Steven as the ST Kilda player left the field.
Can't remember Baker changing direction when Farmer went down

Didn't stop the AFL making sure he got aprox 37 weeks.

They really do make stuff up...

I love the Saints, but I find it really hard to take the AFL and the competition seriously sometimes.
