Jack's Goal
Was it Jack who took the advantage a few weeks ago when we had a shot from the goal square and missed a soccer off the ground?? A silly decision he should learn from.
He did it again last night under more pressure, left foot, off the ground ten meters out. It only went in by a metre. It was when the game was still in the balance. Goddard had drew the free kick, did the hard work, not sure Jack needed two sneak in. I think Jack sometimes needs to compose himself sometimes and make smarter decisions, if he does that.....he could become A-Grade IMO
Having said that, another top game. Hard running, ball winning plenty of drive....Tough and hard too...
So small criticism, but I was miffed to see him do that again after making the mistake so recently

Re: Jack's Goal
Yeah, I noticed that as well and thought the same thing. Unless he didn't know it was a free it wasn't the smartest thing to do.
Holder of unacceptable views and other thought crimes.

Agreed... it was really silly & he needs to be smarter.
Having said that he was fantastic last night... his disposal is improving too (still had a few shockers last night though).

Re: Jack's Goal
as BM notes, just needs a little bit more composure... esp when he has the ball and he will be a gem

BM on a slightly different topic, I think you were right about Cripps. I noticed 3 contests last night when he could have gone harder. Still, the kid has potential but he needs to address his attack on the contested ball.
Re: Jack's Goal
Not his natural go, or instinctive..... Will need to train it into himself....
And if adding some strength helps him, he needs to do that. On what I wrote, I just wrote what I witnessed, he hesitated twice, when he had to go. It's happens to most players occasionally, he just needs to address it.
He seems a natural replacement for Jason Gram

The people I was sitting with also commented on Jacks goal, and agreed with the OP premis.
Needs that tiny bit of composure, but we dont want to curb that natural enthusiasm.
That one on one contest on the wing, where he kept his feet and then hit Kosi (I think) lace out for a shot on goal was truly the highlight of the night for me.
I think the original critisism is fair and I an sure it will pointed out to him during the week.
Got a keeper in Jack.

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>.
