Re: Tommy Walsh set for debut....
Scotty made it pretty clear he was a required player. He made it pretty clear he wasn't interested in staying. As far as I'm concerned he is is a Sydney player, so no soft spot for me.

Look I hope he's a dud but only because I hate Sydney due that the Hall/Goose corruption and want them to fail at any opportunity.

That's what happens when you get a game because of injuries, not because your ready
Re: Tommy Walsh set for debut....
But but but, he kicked 6 in one twos match and he scores 85 dt points vs the Suns... I still cant quite get over the reaction on here when he left. Having said that I probably went a bit early on the T Lynch love.
Either way Im so glad we didnt cave in and match Sydneys coin...

He was definitely playing his first game ......... for St Kilda.
He managed -3 dream team points.
Yes that is a negative sign as in less than zero.
He had one kick but gave away two free kicks hence a negative dream team points score.
Is he the first to have a negative DT points score?
He still has along way to go before he can hold down centre half forward.

As I have posted before, when Walsh was playing the Gaelic game he is an absolute natural. This is also obvious when they play international rules with the round ball. Playing Aussie Rules he is a competent player at a semi professional level, but at the highest level he is a wash out who won't make the grade. My prediction is after tonight he will return to the NSW/ACT Rams or whatever they're called up there and not play another senior game this year.
Interestingly, I read on the Swans board over at Bigfooty that the gloating about poaching Tommy has given way to acceptance that he is out of his depth. I just hope now that Markworth becomes a 100 game player and the Swans hear about it for the next ten years.

I thought he was stiff on those two free kicks. He was the unluckiest man on the ground until he became the unluckiest man off the ground.

Simpkin was running off him and had Walsh stayed on Simpkin would have absolutely towelled him up worse, and it would have degenerated into a total embarrasment for Tommy. The Swans wisely decided to cut their losses.

I recall a game where Brett Montgomery went off injured after giving away a free.ace wrote:Is he the first to have a negative DT points score?
