Saintsational Margin Competition - versus Sydney
Well this week we have another six day break before taking on the red hot swans. I'm actually pretty confident we'll get the job done.
This week the competition enters its sixth week and I have to say I've been impressed with the turn out so far, especially last week considering it was a six day break and there was really only four days to get your votes in....
Anyway, get your votes in for round nine versus Sydney.
Remember getting the margin correct (which has not been done yet) yields a massive ten points.
Select the following:
1 - Winner of match
2 - Most goals for St Kilda (bonus point for how many goals if spot on) - MUST be one hundred percent correct, if you pick one player to score four goals and another player ALSO scores four goals, you get no points. Harsh, but that's the rules from day dot.
3 - First goal of the game for St Kilda
4 - Most disposals for St Kilda (bonus three points for correct amount of disposals) This does not have to be spot on. If multiple people get the most touches and you guess them all, you get points for each guess, but if you only guess one player, you get points for that (this is much harder to pick than most goals)
5 - Margin of game. Has to be by team you selected in question 1.
LAST WEEK - versus WEST COAST
Lenny scored most touches (28), Roo most goals (4) and also the first goal and of course West Coast won by 30 points.
Nine players were scoreless last week, an equal record with Fremantle although that was out of twenty participants whereas only sixteen took part this week - meaning only seven players actually scored any points. The star of the week was MCG-Unit who scored a whipping seven points for nailing the most goals/most touches double and only JUST missing out on bonus points for most touches. Also, sendmehomehappy made a remarkable comeback leaping from 21st to equal 11th with four points for the most touches. felix also scored four points by guessing most touches. Altogether, five players correctly guessed Roo to end up on most goals yet nobody picked him for first goals.
TheJeff is still clearly on top after another slow, uneventful week but a bit of a shake up at the top now with MCG-Unit leaping to equal third on 13 points.

You can listen to Bristle tell you Carlton are still a massive chance at 28 points down with two minutes to go, you can listen to him tell you all about Lorne, or you can watch a monkey on a pushbike...I know which I prefer...

Welcome to the competition.millarsaint wrote:38 points, think we'll get over these pr*cks comfy like
however you can also pick one or more of the other categories.
Best of luck with your guess though. 38 point win would be really nice.

Right. If someone manages to get all five correct that's a total of 13. If someone is good enough to sweep the lot I will give that poster another fifty bonus points.
That's a total of 63 up for grabs.

Re: Saintsational Margin Competition - versus Sydney
Strange but there is still no sign of regulars matrix, sendmehomehappy, Griggsy (who is equal third) or SainterK at this stage...
Anyone else who hasn't gone yet, get your votes in. Plenty of time to make a comeback.
