Great game from Judd considering ...
it was a Monday so he must have already put in a full day working at his demanding and highly paid job at Visy.
Though obviously he was too tired to eye-gouge anyone or split any heads open with his elbow.

I thought he may have had sore hands from ripping open all those brown paper bags in the morning to receive his Visi "pay".

Take out the junk kicks and handballs after being tackled by numerous Saints and having to dispose of the pill hastily, his stats would only tally about 15-20 possessions. Nothing spectacular for a dual brownlow medallist.
Was still their best player though.
Will still get brownlow votes from the umps!

You can listen to Bristle tell you Carlton are still a massive chance at 28 points down with two minutes to go, you can listen to him tell you all about Lorne, or you can watch a monkey on a pushbike...I know which I prefer...

His deal with Visy is that he goes with the other Hells Angels to collect the bad debts.....
....and then he gets to keep it

Re: Great game from Judd considering ...
I was chatting to my brother about Judd the other week. IMO, when he loses his speed, his career will prolly dwindle.
He doesnt have the defensive nous to become a half back. He doesnt have the amrking skill to become a small forward.
I use to admire him at Wet Toast E-girls - he was the decent one in the pack of ferals. When he went to Carlscum, it didn't bother me, as I knew his chances of playing in more grand finals were zero.
Then when he started the s*** of eye gouging, biting, etc, well, he just went down hill in my view. Winning the second Brownlow medal made me vomit. But one thing in his favour - he always has a dip. Unlike his gutless team mates like Jibbs, Betts, Armfield, the fukcing list goes on.

You make it sound so easy when you criticise a dual Brownlow medalist, All-Australian, Premiership winning captain...200 gamer......the list goes on.stevie wrote:I was chatting to my brother about Judd the other week. IMO, when he loses his speed, his career will prolly dwindle.

Judd is a star and a very intelligent player/man. Once he paces dwindles he is clever enough to find other ways to play well and will do so.
Sheesh!

Judd is an absolute superstar! This thread is disrespectful...as were the muppet supporters who booed him on Monday night!
When Harvey played his first game in 1988, I was a 12yo wearing short pants and struggling with my readin', writin' and 'rithmetic in grade eight. Now, I'm a father of three and a retired AFL player. And he's still going. Amazing! - Michael Voss

They trialed a new Judd rule on Monday.
On the rare occasion where a free is paid against him, he is allowed to hold on to his opponent's arm and follow him 5 metres over the mark.

I'm not doubting or sinking the boot into Judd's past achievements.
He lost all his cred when he started the dirty stuff with the fingers.
Banger Harvey was a dual Brownlow medallist, multiple AA, etc
He never did rubbish like that on the field

Re: Great game from Judd considering ...
That pissed me off. If it was us we would have had 10 50 meter penalties -Carlton seem to get to walk up over the mark without repercussion but in the past 4 weeks we have had heaps paid against for really minor infringements.kosifantutti wrote:They trialed a new Judd rule on Monday.

We found it easy to laud Lenny.
They went head to head a lot...... Statistically he had more impact.
Judd is a SUPERSTAR...... Lenny Too

Judd was pretty ordinary watching at the ground he may have got touches but many were rushed or not to great advantage. Still he was the best for them by a fair bit. Mitch Robinson and Waite were awful.
Re: Great game from Judd considering ...
I would take an ordinary game as being the best player for my team by a margin as you say....
He basically battled a hungry battle hardened midfield solo, whilst his softcock team mates waited for his left overs.....on the outside of the pack
He is a midfield machine. Like Ablett, Black, Hayes, Selwood .... They just get er done!
