I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!
Re: BT on Viagra
Watched the replay last night. His shite commentary really makes it less enjoyable to watch!
What the hell's his problem with us? Seemed anti-saints to me.
Liked him when he was on MMM, but he's crap on seven.
The bit that really irritated me was when Jones was penalised with that ridiculous deliberate decision.
Surely one of the worst deliberate calls in recent history, and they didn't even acknowledge it!
Think Luke Darcy was crapping on at the time. Can't bag Richo though, he's good value.

Re: BT on Viagra
Honestly the worst caller of footy in the land !!! It's cliche after cliche with him for crying out loud what the F is foot candy ? Steven from Geelong falcons football factory down the hwy the man from lorn .. FFS give us a break Brian constant babble it's annoying .. The worst thig about the footy at the moment is the commentators congratulating each other over their days in the game ... FFS just call the fing game !!! It's all just babble now days .. Darcys comment " Judd will look to slip out the back here" no s*** Sherlock any idiot could see that the brian gets all hard about it " excellent student of the game Darce what you said exactly happened" FFS ! It was like the D grade commentators for this game .. Brian should not do prime time games should stick to the Sunday twilight games ... It's a sad day when quaterbrain and Wallsy are prefered

Re: BT on Viagra
I WAS WRONG AND UNJUST IN MY NEGATIVE ASSESSMENT OF BRIAN TAYLOR
I have to be fair here, I bagged BT out on a recent thread, but I'm just watching the Carlton game on the reply now for the first time and I must admit, he wasn't as bad as has been made out. It probably helps that I knew the result already, but as far as I could see he was just trying to make it more interesting for Blues fans, and actually for Saints fans too, keeping us on tenterhooks. I certainly didn't think he favored the Blues. I still think he's an idiot who gets distracted into petty issues too often but he was not bad, a lot better than the previous game vs Hawks. And he's still a ton better than Dwayne Russell, the most morose man in footy, who really does hate the Saints.
And I absolutely love the expression "foot candy" (or is it "footcandy"?) that BT has started employing, watch for that to be the new buzzword in footy.
I don't mind Luke Darcy either, he seems to be a keen student of the game, I have thought so since I started reading his contributions to the official AFL site. I prefer him to David King, that much is certain.
Other observations after watching the game for the first time;
Sam Gilbert may have made some mistakes in that game but he did a few nice 1%ers and vital contributions which came at important times, the kick out to Saad in 4Q and a few bumps and tackles to stop Carlton gaining momentum for examples. I don't know if I'd drop him based on that performance, although obviously APS is right, it's a long way from his best a few years ago when he and Fisher were the talk of the town.
I can't express adequately how much I enjoyed Milne's celebration after his 4th goal. Not the most selfless act on the field that night, but I hope he continues it because it is a ripper, and takes the entertainment factor to another level, reminiscent of his "chainsaw" celebration a few years ago. As Richo astutely observed at the time, "the best celebrator in the business" which is a bit of a snide dig if you reflect on what celebrator could be a euphemism for, but I don't mind.
Liked Farren Ray's efforts, here's a fella that is really staking his claim to get back into his best form and cement a spot. Great example for the others and that is exactly what Watters talked about in pre-season.
Agree with people saying that Siposs doesn't make a great sub, but should get his chance for a few more games I think, just like Cripps and Newnes earlier. I think anyone bagging Cripps and Siposs and other 1st year/2year players needs to remember what Nick Reiwoldt said this week, re; Saad and Milera, that having that VFL/SANFL background and a couple of extra years experience makes a lot of difference. Do you remember what you were like as a 18-19 year old? I remember myself, practically still a boy. That other teams's 1st/2nd year players came on immediately, or ours did in the past is incidental. Let's look at what we've got. We need to give those guys a few years before we expect anything big off them realistically. Same for anyone impatient enough to lament the lack of Crocker to step up. Maybe they will never show anything, but give them a few years before giving up on them, please.
We've lost against a very strong team due to poor match-ups, to a reasonably efficient team due to a fair amount of inside knowledge and a restrictive opposition game plan and a poor team due to under-preperation at the start of the season.
The next 2 weeks will be very interesting, and if they go right, you watch everyone jump on the bandwagon! Get your seat now, soon it'll be standing room only.
Overall, very satisfied with StKilda's players, coach and staff so far this year.

Re: BT on Viagra
Agree Austinn, we could have easily been up the top right now but if we knock of WCE or Sydney watch them crawl out of the woodwork. We are 2 games off top spot now so imagine if we cement ourselves in the 8 in the next month. I just can't wait for Terry Wallet to have to eat humble pie if we make the 8.
Re: BT on Viagra
Had a good laugh when Armo stuffed up a kick on his left and BT said it was on his non-preferred. Armo has been playing for a number of years now. Surely BT knows he is a left footer.
