Interesting that NEWNES has been named best in all the media but no one has really mentioned him on here. Of all this year recruits he looks the most likley to go on an have a 200 game career. In play he seems to have the time and smoothness of Dal Santo and the hardness of Hayes. Lets hope that Ross and Webster can live up to there early repuatation also.

Gees when you look at the impact some of last years draftees have had for GWS I think 2011 will gio down as a strong recruiting year!

Sandringham’s last quarter was all about winning the contested footy and it showed.

They had more numbers around the ball and were able to break more easily into their forward line. Myke Cook took a rare running bounce on the wet day, to give Cripps a set shot at goal, which he converted. Sandringham went on to kick 4 goals 7 behinds to the Blues 2 behinds and finished up winning by 30 points.
