Farren gives us so much versatility, never understood the hate toward him. Tonight he was brilliant, welcome back 22!!

Great game by Farren. Good to have him back in and playing well. He has earns the spot and the right to keep it for next week. Like him in the team has a great pair of hands and takes a good strong grab. Go SAINTERS!!
Re: Welcome back Farren
Yeah, great game by Farren. If it is a choice between he and Polo, I reckon it is a no brainier.
Got his chance and grabbed it with both hands. Great to see he has a bit of ticker.

Great player! Marks beautifully Does not waste the ball via foot or hand. And he knows how to earn a free kick! Strewth! If the ups like him well he has to be a walk up start every week for mine!

Re: Welcome back Farren
I thought this thread was about Farren, not Dean Polo.
Irrespective, I love that he was made to fight for his spot in the team, culminating in his best game of the year for Sandy last week. And now, when he finally got his chance, he absolutely grabbed it with both hands.
Go the Fazzer....

Re: Welcome back Farren
See when you do it properly the system works
Ray in 2011 = AWEFUL
Average all preseason. Dropped to Sandy
Finally plays a well = earns recall
Plays excellent game VS Carlton.
Compare that to the other strategy...
Gilbert plays mediocre game after mediocre game (like McQualter before him) and keeps his spot... then continues mediocre games
Ray in 2011 = AWEFUL
Average all preseason. Dropped to Sandy
Finally plays a well = earns recall
Plays excellent game VS Carlton.

Re: Welcome back Farren
The time in the ressies has seen him realise that he needs to do more to continue his career as an AFL player. It's never been a matter of ability with Ray. He had a whole new level of intensity tonight compared to his 2011 season.
Agree with skeptic that the same could do good for Gilbert.

Might I just add it's no good unless he backs it up. He's played a few games like this since he came over from the Dogs but not often enough
