Can someone clarify the timeline?

I missed the three quarter time interview after it happened. When Wilkes was subbed off last week, did Watters say that Wilkes had a niggle?

But after the game he said it was due to the paperwork being lodged?

Did he explain what Wilkes' niggle was? Or was he just covering up that they made a mistake in the coaches box?

This is the thing though, that surely cannot be a mistake. They either thought he was injured or they didn't. And the fact that it was never mentioned since (?)... almost seems he said it just to cover his own backside (over the paperwork reason).

Exactly. I'm thought he just mentioned it out of the clouds so he can get the interview over quickly and run up into the coaches box. I heard its a fair walk from the ground to the coaches box.
