Easily the most important thing about his game today- seems to have really improved his endurance/work rate.

He did didn't he. I wonder what he could do to improve that. Is it a diet thing because he played bloody well in the last qtr despite his cramps.

Agreed! Wonderful to see. And not only that, but since the Port game, Armo's started to string 'em together. Even spotted the run and spreaded happening on numerous occasions. :D

I didn't tip this!

And as he grows in confidence he's displaying a lot more poise.

Seems to be enjoying playing under Scotty :)

Just a good player.... This was evident in 2007 when he was obviously a class above the VFL but we held back his development there whilst players we have now delisted were played...

This is a guy who carried a depleted midfield against. hawthorn to an upset win, got 3 votes and was dropped shortly after....

And the run and spread, he has been one of the stronger endurance athletes since day 1 and his draft Bio rated him a top runner, with excellent beep and repeat sprint results....
But boring in for the ball and laying 10 tackles a game, takes its toll.....just ask. Bally, can't have it both ways

2007 or do you mean 2009? ...Agree with what you're saying about Armo and the fact that he should've played more games...Oh and also... winning 19 in a row has a price too.

2007 with the Casey Scorpions.... He dominated some games, and periods of others

2009 he dominated most games.....for Sandy

Winning 19 in a row??
Not sure what that means, can't you change a winning team, can't players play poorly in winning teams, can't young players be given opportunities when you're 4 games clear on top, and some rested....
And BTW....we lost the GF, 19 in a row means not a great deal, we lost on a cold, blustery, wet day at the MCG
What conditions seemed to suit Dave tonight, and maybe Luke Ball in 09

Yep!! Ahah...sorry i didn't communicate as well as you, but that was exactly my point about the 19 in a row...It came at a cost and the line-up needed refreshing and needed tweaking....19 in a row didn't mean squattlidoo when it came to preparing to win a GF...And maybe Armo might have been given a guernsey had he been given an opportunity in the 09 finals...Oh and also...maybe young Jarryn getting a spot in the team wouldn't have hurt - considering that wet slippery turf either. Certainly it would have allowed the mids to rest their niggles and if anything, at least it would've helped younger players development to be given the nod for a finals game or two. They might've even improved further and helped the team with the finals series of 2010...but Ahhhhfuckitwhats the point...let's look ahead now. Love seeing Scott Watters giving the young blokes a decent hitout. Watched the Zebras today and hoping to see a few more new blokes debuting in 2012.

Really starting to live up to his early wraps and high draft position now. Better lateish than never.
Really good to see him get it 28 times as well, which is especially good considering he is still starting forward at so many of the centre bounces. Just love the way he attacks the contest.

Development stalled, for obvious reasons....
