In the first 4 rounds we lost 3 games, getting smashed in two of them. Not one of the clubs finished the year above 6th. one of them finished Second last.

None of WCE, Sydney or Essendon are likely to win the GF despite ladder position. I actually think at the moment injuries are starting to effect a few teams and this season is pretty wide open for the last standing. WC, Carlton and the Pies are starting to get some significant injuries. The Hawks are vulnerable but so far lucky, they have a very good elite core but if and of Mitchell, Buddy or Cyril get injured badly they are very prone. I might add them to my dream team as every one I put down seems to injure them selves at the moment.

Disagree re West Coast Gringo. They are looking good for another top 4 H&A finish. Top 2 would ensure them home qualifying and prelim finals and get to a GF and well, that is anyone's game. At any rate they look capable of beating anyone.

To me, this season has no obvious favorites, first time since 07.
