New Margin Tipping Competition

Hey guys,

As many of you may remember, there used to be a margin competition which hasn't been run for quite some time. Well, I've decided to bring it back.

There's probably not enough on here to warrant starting one but I'm gogin to run it with a running total every week. Yeah, I know its stupid starting it now but we're all voting on the same game.

However, I decided to change it up a bit with five things to get points for, more for each particular one.

1 point - Winner of game

2 points - Leading goalscorer for St Kilda (bonus point for how many)

3 points - First goal scorer for St Kilda

4 points - Leading possession winner for St Kilda (3 bonus points for closest to pin amount of possessions - double if you get it)

5 points - Final margin of game.

THE RULES:

Simple, nominate an answer for each question. Questions can have multiple answers for each so multiple people can pick a margin (since there's more points up for grabs)

The only other rule is (as indicated by highlighted parts) questions 2-4 are only for St Kilda, not including the other team.

reckon I might get a few more tomorrow when its not so late, haha. We'll see. I'll declare this successful if I get at least ten posters on board regularly.

All predictions recorded, we have our first identical answers with both OneEyedSainter77 and SainterK tipping St Kilda and Milne to be first goalkicker. Just to reiterate, if both of these shall eventuate, each poster will be awarded points. Also SainterK and bergholt each selected Joey to be leading possession getter. If both are correct, both will get the points, 31,32 or 33 touches gives bergholt bonus points and 34,35 or 36 will see K get some bonus points.

Anyway, after eight people have put their predictions in, it looks like there's going to be some fierce competition with a lot of the same players getting the same sorts of predictions...

Looking forward to the game to see how many people here are right.

Just a note about the margin - two win the points it MUST be the team tipped in question 1. If Fremantle wins by 24 points, I get ZERO points for Q5 as I missed the margin by 48 in that case.

Should be obvious but still have to say it.

After ten people have put predictions in there are several people putting Milne for first goal (4/10 so far); half people have him for leading goalkicker (5/10) and three each for Dal Santo and Joey to get most touches.

So far, we have ten unique margins selected, although most are between two and half goals to four and ahalf goals St Kilda win.
