Re: Frankie Dunell
I thought he was mainly playing deep forward? And why do we have a thread named after his father?

Re: Frankie Dunell
Remember Frank Dunell playing for Brisbane Bears the first time we played them Rnd. 3 1987. Their first loss. Rod Owen kicked 5. I'm embarresed to say I remember that off the top of my head. Think Plugger only got 2 or 3 in Brownlow year.

Re: Frankie Dunell
Frank Dunnell was a very ordinary footballer, Sam needs to be better than his old man to cut it in today's game. He's made a bright start and I hope he keeps it up.
Old enough to repaint, but young enough to sell

Lets not compare era's but if Sam plays as many games as his old man he has done very well.

Dunny = good disposal usually although sometimes sprays it. has a lot of hangers taken on him but is an excitment machine that the club thinks will bring people to the ground and put bums on seatsstevie wrote:

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

We call Armitage 'Dunny' for obvious reasons!
In honour of those who went before, in the dark and desperate years.
