Re: Votes: Round 3 Saints V Dogs
5 Lenny - fearsomely good game.
4 Geary - so an improver, his lowered eye delivery forward is low and direct (he's clearly been practicing), hard as bloody nails. Big ticks
3 Goddard - cruise control, still brilliant
2 Dempster - understated and tireless as usual
1 Steven - how hard does the little bugger go? Love the bloke's work.
------
Armo (really good, but time for 20 plus games, almost there) Roo (FFS kick the ones you should and I'll forgive you the hard misses), Simpkin (so impressed - what the Hawks would give for him, Stanley (getting closer all the time), Dal (consistent as ever), Joey (getting there again).
What an even effort. Bulldogs never a sniff.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'
