I was excited about Rhys 2 years ago. I'm excited again. Fantastic mark and goal.

Game should be over. We are dominating. But it's not. Still nervous. They have some good players who may as well be sitting with me. Haven't touched it yet. Hope they stay quiet.

Fat Ed is commentating on Fox Footy and all I can say is I HATE his guts.
I'm sure most of the commentators are barracking for the dogs. Great unbiased commentary as usual.

Re: Game thread vs Dogs
Clearance work has been excellent, McEvoy and Stanley both getting quality hitouts to advantage and Lenny is an absolute master of stoppages. Pressure is generally good but disposal still dodgy. We should be 7 goals up by now.
Umps have been embarrassing for the competition, numerous stuffed ball-ups, pointing the wrong way for free kicks and getting involved far too often. However we've probably been gifted more dodgy frees in total.
Simpkin doesn't fill me with confidence; he's getting worked off the ball and his disposal has been shocking. Is good at spoiling on the lead but looks very shaky one-on-one. Newnes getting a bit of the footy but was torn up by Dahlhaus over a 10-minute period and needs to try to do some damage with his kicks rather than going sideways every time.
Milney not getting near it but has effectively taken out their best rebounder in Murphy. Watters would probably be happy with little to no impact from Milne if Murphy gets under 15 touches.

Roo geeing them up in the huddle.
We need scoreboard pressure to reward our dominance.
Gilbert back injury - not coming out for the start.

Great start with pressure at the clearance. Ends up with Joey spraying wide.

Geary excellent in defence, but turns it over on the kick and the dogs score a goal.

That's a very good point, new coach and players, hopfully we can get it all working against bottom teams, but this ones not over tetwhiskers3614 wrote:Not sure how we would go against the good teams @ the moment, but happy with current lead.
Beat a few of the dud teams and form and confidence may return to a level that makes us competitive against top4 sides.

Dal has a four bounce run but the dogs clear his deep kick into the fifty.
Geary saves us on the counterattack. Ball back into our fifty.
Bj marks! And... Goals!

Re: Game thread vs Dogs
Roo unlucky not to get a free - could have had a few more this game.
Hayes out to chips - up to kosi, who gets a free and delivers a poor pass to Roo. In the scrimmage Joey swoops and goals.

Pressure results in another turnover. Milera swings a dog who coughs it up, Roo collects and handballs to armo - goal!
