Ayce Cordy in for them for Dickson, giving them much more height in their forward line.

Re: RD 3 v Footscray team
If we are still blaming umpires for Round 1 defeat we are in for a real long year.
Didn't see the game but reckon Primus could umpire against Port Adelaide vs any of the big 4 and it wouldn't make a difference.
Get used to it guys, we are just a mid=table side, enjoy the young guys coming up don't stress about results too much and if we get things right our turn will come.

Riewoldt and Goddard to live up to their reputations ,Clarke and Ray to defy theirs in 2012!

Bad umps should be easy to manipulate - just out whine the dogs supporters (alright, not easy as whining is hard wired into their DNA) and the umps will pay the frees hat aren't there.
As for the team. Happy with it although cripps should be sub - very quiet for most of last week.
Glad Newnes gets another run. Possibly Polo will replace someone late.

Yes it would be very hard to out-whine the media darling WB supporters - there will be mega booing for any free kicks. For years they have just about received the most 'frees for' of any team.desertsaint wrote:Bad umps should be easy to manipulate - just out whine the dogs supporters (alright, not easy as whining is hard wired into their DNA) and the umps will pay the frees hat aren't there.

Side is ok, hope Ledger plays a full game - wonder if there will be a late change.....

Re: RD 3 v Footscray team
Is this something you've heard from someone at the club, or just your opinion? I would have thought Ross was the one who played more like Lenny and in Lenny's position. Newnes is better known for his outside run and carry etc, isn't he?defacto wrote:he definetly is being groomed to replace hayes. going to be really watching him this w/e.

When Newnes plays we win by an average of 92 points.Sick Nal Danto wrote:Newnes must be doing what the coach wants

watters i believe said he was like lenny hayes. given lennys age it would explain why they are getting as much game time into him as possible.AnythingsPossibleSaints wrote:Is this something you've heard from someone at the club, or just your opinion? Re: RD 3 v Footscray team
Considerable nads on Watters and co to retain the kids this week against much tougher opposition.
If they all line up at the first bounce on Saturday night we're going to learn quite a bit about the future.

Watters said he has leadership qualities like Hayes....not that he was the next Lenny in a physical football sensedefacto wrote:watters i believe said he was like lenny hayes. given lennys age it would explain why they are getting as much game time into him as possible.AnythingsPossibleSaints wrote:Is this something you've heard from someone at the club, or just your opinion?
