Re: Some good signs from Kosi
Sadly I think the days of Full forwards averaging 5 goals a game and kicking 100 goals in a season may be over, theres only been 2 100+ goal kickers in the last ten years. Clubs are looking for a spread so that there not predictable.
if Kosi can kick average 3 (at least) I would be happy with that output.

If Kosi averages 3 (at least) I think we would all be outrageously happy!

He is a super set shot for goal however his career has been littered with one quarter performances and then disappearing for the remainder of the match.
He is still one of my favourites though.

Re: Some good signs from Kosi
Or could it be that when Rooey looked like he wasn't winning much ball they could drop a defender into space in front of him. As the mids get tired the kicks drop short and limit supply. The limited bench will mean most forwards do their best work early. Kosi had a good game as far as our forwards went. Playing deep is a great spot for him and makes us look more imposing .

He's weird.
His ability to clunk a mark goes well early...........then as the game goes on his timing etc goes off and he fades away for the last 3 qtrs......
I wonder whether he just struggles to maintain intensity at times,...

I think last year he really never got back his fitness after missing the preseason and a fair amount of early rounds. I think on the weekend early season fitness with limited rotations and the mids dropping the supply worked against him. He has dominated full games before just not for a long time. One day he will kick a bag of 8 goals and raise our hopes that he will be a dominant big man again. 10 against GC would do me just need him supplied well from a confidence filled Milera and a humiliated joey and away we go.

What are we basing that on though?Teflon wrote:He's weird.

Was it really kicked to him upwards of 5 times?
I'm not so sure this week, I reckon Scott was trying something different.

Must have been kicked to him a bit. he gave away 4 frees.

The s*** fox coverage which bounced around the ground like it was in a trampoline didn't show what Kosi had done to give away frees. what did he do? I was at the pub and couldn't tell what they were for.plugger66 wrote:SainterK wrote:What are we basing that on though?Teflon wrote:He's weird.

Were they all attempted marks? Or forward pressure? Only asking because I really don't know....plugger66 wrote:SainterK wrote:What are we basing that on though?Teflon wrote:He's weird.

A lot easier to give away frees as a forward when the delivery is ordinary.SainterK wrote:Were they all attempted marks? Or forward pressure? Only asking because I really don't know....plugger66 wrote:SainterK wrote: What are we basing that on though?
