Why are people putting up Beau Wilkes for delisting?

I mean, we're one week into his first season and he didn't even play. And the week before he was BOG, or close to it, for Sandy.

Not saying he's gonna make it but there seems to be a bit of premature ejecting going on around here.

The only reason we recruited Wilkes was because of his previous link to Watters at West Coast.

Who knows if that's true.

But regardless, if we thought he was good enough to grab back in October 2011 why would be saying delist him before he's even had a chance to prove himself?

Like I said, he may well end up being someone who gets no more than one year on our list. But at least give him that year, or at least the best part of it, before making these calls.

citywest I'm quite sure you're not a troll however your opinions do seem a bit far fetched, although to a small degree you are right. I'd say the players you've mentioned will be close to all gone by 2013, not 2012. Also why don't you be a little more respectful to our past players and champions (Lenny and Roo for Chist's sake!) and instead of saying 'need to go' be more diplomatic - you will get better responses to your topics from forumites.

Maybe we should delist Watters for his nepotism. He has obviously taken a dud as witnessed by the push for his early delisting because he was mates with him. When we delist all the players that have been listed and traded away the rest of our stars we will load up on youth in the superdraft and be as good as Melbourne.

Hey Old Mate, I appreciate what you are saying about being diplomatic, I really do, however I don't subscribe to the theory. In fact I hate the idea of being diplomatic and politically correct. I say it as I see it and if people don't like it well then bad luck. Granted, Lenny and Roo have been great players (moreso Lenny), but IMHO they have to both go at the end of this season for the sake of our clubs future. There is no disrespect there, just my opinion.
