Praying that Sippos' knee is ok....

Should be in the senior side as soon possible IMO, groomed with a few runs in the middle; our version of Fyfe...

Interesting to see Archer has kicked 3, in his first serious hit out of the year??

Can't remember Stanley ever kicking more than 2, and played many full matches forward... Hopefully Rhys can step up today, otherwise Archer may develop into the more physical big man up forward and part time ruck...

Two to four weeks if he hasn't torn a ligament.

Did a quick medical search for hyper extended knee and that appears to be the body of opinion. Two to four weeks rest. Let's hope he hasn't torn a ligament. That would be very cruel for him and St Kilda.

hyper extended isn't all that serious... just hurts like all buggery

would suggest closer to two weeks than 4

Agree with the last few posts.

HAving said that, a few years back Buddy hyper-extended his knee in a final from memory, everyone thought the worst, but he played the next week.

Fingers crossed!!

I've only seen him play in the practice game against Werribee, but going from what I saw that day and from reports today and over the past few weeks it looks like Sam Dunell could be a real find. A good sized medium forward who moves well with a nice kick. I feel the receruiting over recent drafts has really improved, with the rookies included - Dunell, Minchington, Archer, Curren and Ferguson all look far more likely than what we saw through the middle of the aughts.

according to the experts

too old

Obviously Sandy is suffering due to how poor the Saints are

If he has torn his PCL he will be out a bit longer than 4 weeks. I partially tore mine last November I was back running 6 weeks later. Will have his leg in a brace to keep it straight for 4 weeks.

Good to see.

I notice Archer and Simpkin in the best. Both potential longterm KPP'S. LIKE.

archer kicked 4 and could end up a decent FF.
stanley is our number one ruckman atm.

The Zebras were struck by injury too, with St Kilda-listed Arryn Sipposs stretchered from the ground with a knee injury mid-way through the second quarter.
While the Roosters outscored their rivals in the third quarter and almost matched them in the fourth, FitzGerald said his team still needed to drive harder into the forward-50m.
The Zebras were far more efficient inside-50, particularly in marking, and ventured into the forward-50 58 times compared with the Roosters’ 47. FitzGerald said it was a clear area where his team was beaten.

VFL sleeping giant Sandringham yesterday slayed another high-profile competitor in pursuit of its first flag since 2006.
The Zebras trounced North Ballarat by 48 points at Eureka Stadium in a match dominated by St Kilda's rookie-listed players.
Raw forward Sam Dunnell booted five goals from 16 possessions and midfielder Tom Curren picked up 31 disposals.
Former Adelaide recruit Myke Cook (22 possessions) and former West Coast player Adam Cockie (25) chimed in with strong clearance work.
