First goal to Zebs
Nice save in defence by Andreoli, kicked across the square to Crocker. Looked for Curren up the wing but couldn't get it to him
Another mark in defence by Andreoli. Doing some good mop up work and finding his targets around the ground

Ferguson kicks up the flank and finds #70 on a lead. Not on the team sheet but might be Markworth
Set shot from the boundary, 45 out, goes straight through. Zebs 2.3 15 to Hawks 0.1 1

Two more goals, the last to Michaelides. Hawks still with no major
Just spotted Markworth in 29 so no idea who 70 is
One more. Qtr time 5.4 34 - 0.1 1

Re: Zebras vs Hawks TBBO prac match
Two more goals, one a set shot from 50 for Cockie
Hawks were winning the ball for the first 15 but couldn't make it pay, the Zebs have been all over them ever since. Some solid defence work from what I could see

#70 is Staley. Hawks starting to find themselves, 2 goals in 3 minutes

Set shot for Dunell, 45 out, slight angle, through for a goal
Another goal while I was busy typing. Didn't catch who
10.8 68 - 2.3 15. Gotta be close to half time.

Re: Zebras vs Hawks TBBO prac match
Second half started. Curren has swapped jumpers, is now wearing 40. He's been busy in the middle
Minchington's wearing 68 instead of 28
Hawks on the attack, some good defending sees the ball go back up the other end
Ball up. Broc Macauley for the Hawks is a giant, killing the Zebs in the ruck
Crocker's kicking has been a bit ordinary, good aim but either too short or too long

Archer head clash going for a mark. Looked nasty but he got up and jogged off
Another goal to Zebs but scoring has otherwise dried up. Solid contested game from both sides
Really like Ferguson's game. Sure hands, clean disposal, smart around the contests
Three qtr time. 11.13 79 - 2.4 16

Final qtr. Early turnover in defence costly for the Hawks, goal to #55
Out of the middle and up to Staley for another
Zebs winning the midfield battle. Great tackle by Minchington, Hallahan collects it, plays on and goals

Re: Zebras vs Hawks TBBO prac match
Calm kick under pressure by Minchington inside 50, mark and goal by Stapleton
Almost a carbon copy two minutes later, but ball slips off the boot. Some good second efforts from him lead to another goal
Final siren. 18.15 123 - 4.6 30

Yep. Happened right in front of the scoreboard. Nothing in it. Both players collided while sliding for the ball. I thought the Box Hill player came off second best when it happened

Big blow for big Arch. A real shame. Hope he is ok.
Looks like big Ferg and Staley might be ok?

Ferg gets lots of love on here and should be a player, Staley was highly rated by some before he got to us and hopefully is a steal. I like some of the guys Pelchen and what ever our real recruiters name is Elshaugh? I have a good feeling about Lever and Newnes as well- they don't get talked up yet but both seem highly rated before coming our way. An old guy in Tassie told me to watch Jimmy Webster and says he will be something special too -looks shy though). All in all we seem to have rebuilt our bottom end list from a fairly average looking group.
