All first-round matches will be live on Fox Footy. The station will also televise five round-two and six round-three clashes. The grand final will be live on March 17.

REGULAR SEASON
All 198 home-and-away games as well as the qualifying, elimination, semi and preliminary finals will be broadcast live and uninterrupted, with no ad breaks, siren to siren, in high definition. When there are two games on at the same time, one game will be live on FOX FOOTY and the other on Fox Sports 1.

The network will cover major events including the AFL season launch, national draft, AFL Players Association MVP Awards, NAB Rising Star awards, AFL Hall of Fame night, All-Australian Awards, Brownlow Medal and North Melbourne's grand final breakfast.

Only 3 live games per week on FTA vs an extra 6 live on Foxtel.

Plus foxtel is available in high def whilst the 7 broadcasts are standard def.

You are fairly well screwed without pay tv!

McGuire's alma mater, meanwhile, has no intention of abandoning the AFL, despite the AFL abandoning it. Nine is back in the game with Footy Classified (Monday), The Footy Show (Thursday), The Sunday Footy Show and TAC Cup: Future Stars (Sunday).

Elsewhere, Ten returns with Before the Game on Saturday March 24 and the ABC's Marngrook Footy Show returns to ABC2 on Thursday March 22. Members of the Anti Football League can still find refuge on SBS.

The Game Plan will screen on One HD on Thursdays at 8.30pm,

but Monday night's One Week At A Time has been shelved.
