Our odds for Round One

Post: # 1191402Post philtee »

Not that I encourage gambling, but...
Two of the betting shops have been brave enough to put up Round One markets.
Sportingbet - Saints $1.28, Port $3.65.
Sportsbet - Saints $1.33, Port 3.35.

I think we're a bit short...
Sure, Port were duds in 2011, but our whole Club has been given a makeover,
and the match is in Adelaide.
$1.60 vs $2.60 would be friendlier.

Last encounter, Round 16, 2011, over there, Saints won by 56 points
AFL''s match report is here - http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/ ... fault.aspx

$1.30 is a 30% return on your investment instantly.

If you're a betting person, it's great deal.

We are certs vs Port. They are useless.

How did WCE go last year compared to the previous year?

West coast put the cue in the rack the year before sending players in for early surgerys to be 100% for the next year Port are the laughing stock of the AFL ... If ever a club was able to go from spoon to top 4 it's West Coast they are set up to succeed port are lucky to exist

My point and it is still my point is people saying other sides are useless when we havent even played a game are those same people who think India will beat Australia 4 nil. $1.30 is a very bad bet without seeing either side play and also 6 weeks before the season starts.

Too short for mine. New coach, some new players and playing interstate. Too much unknown to be at the $1.30 mark.
