Personally, I would have liked to see how Roo played this year without the captaincy burden

At least four others in that group capable of captaincy duties.

IMHO, making Riewoldt captain again is a stupid decision. Having said that though, I guess if the players voted that way then so be it. Personally I would have given it to someone else so Rooey could have concentrated on his own footy without any other distractions. Oh well.

i'm probably being very pessimistic but the sound grab of "thats between myself, my manager and the football club" wasnt convincing to me

I was at the presser in person guys saw BJs body language and answer and looked to me like another Scully/Ablett/Bock moment.
won't be here end of year IMO - no passion, didn't want the question slinked back behind after his manuscript answer.
