Tism film clip featuring St Kilda FC
While researching some of the acts performing at the Spiegel Tent, I came across this Greg The Stop Sign film clip from Tism from the 80s/90s.

It strongly features the Saints and was based at the old training HQ.
Anyone know why the Saints were featured? Was the band a fan of the club? Or was it relating to a current event at the time involving the club?

This question pops up every couple of months I reckon.
1. Justin Peckett
2. Chris Hemley
3. One of the Wakelins
4. Josh Kitchen

I can guarantee that none of Justin Peckett, Chris Hemley, One of the Wakelins or Josh Kitchen were ever in TISMPLUGGER14 wrote:Seriously it was players?matrix wrote:lol

I was told years ago it was a group of uni lecturers who didn't want to be recognised by their students.........
Have got their album somewhere, will dig it out & see if any names are listed.
They were however all extras in the film clip for "Greg The Stop Sign".
And p14, you won't find the band member's names on any albums, we'll not their real names anyway. Only their stage names such as "Ron Hitler Barassi" etc

Think I've worked out why we haven't been very successful over all these years!

Rumours that members where school teachers - as they only toured during school holidays & hence the desire to keep their identities secret - not really kiddy friendly music.
Also heard that one was a close relation of the Finns - Crowded House fame.

Yeah Peter Minack, a few of the others are Saints men.Kate wrote:That was Peter Minack. He was my English teacher at the hole that was Coomoora High School. He was also a Richmond supporter.
