Not exactly an all-time great, but I always found Andrew McLeod rather mesmerising to watch: such a graceful mover.
Purely in footballing terms, G Ablett Snr and Wayne Carey were astoundingly good.
Further back in time, Peter Hudson and Leigh Matthews were rather amazing too.

His skill & toughness is what i loved, its like a Cyril & Bakes combined.Life Long Saint wrote:Really?Saints94 wrote:Byron Pickett.
He was a coward and a thug!
It took zero courage to play the way he did. Lining up players with their heads over the ball is nothing more than taking cheap shots. He would have tripled his suspensions playing for us.

Agree re Cyril. Though I fear for his longevity in the game. Just keeps on twanging hammies, & is only young...
If we'd had him a few years ago, I reckon we'd have 2 more flags. That said, I can totally understand why at the time we went for Big Mac. Furthermore, I wouldn't be at all surprised if by the time both their careers are over, Big Boy's will be, at the least, very comparible with Cyril's value-wise, and hopefully also trophy-wise.
If you're going back somewhat and in no particular order... The Dominater, Dermie, Peter Knights, Lethal and Ro$$ Lyon... oh wait...
