I often find it amusing when people equate behaving unethically with intelligence....like it requires brains to be deceitful......The Fireman wrote:Smart man Ross, he has turned his money problems around and set up a stable future for his family so I guess bitter football fans can please themselves.
You see it often in the work place...."so and so shafted someone to reach the top".....and suddenly are deemed smart,....
Ross was unethical -otherwise his management group wouldnt have sacked him and said as much. To retire players KNOWING you are negotiating with another club is disgraceful.
I wish him all the worst.

It actually is a good post. Shows the maturity that about 95% of posters on here don't have.bobmurray wrote:One of your best posts.....The Fireman wrote:Smart man Ross, he has turned his money problems around and set up a stable future for his family so I guess bitter football fans can please themselves.

Er, I don't think so. Sir Richard Branson nearly went bankrupt several times while building his empire, so Ross is in good company there.SainterK wrote:If he was smart, he wouldn't of lost it all in the first placeThe Fireman wrote:Smart man Ross, he has turned his money problems around and set up a stable future for his family so I guess bitter football fans can please themselves.

I kind of like that the OP bothered, we don't all have to think and feel the same about stuff.

I hope that isn't a freudian slip.sainterinsydney wrote:Let it go, guys. If anything, I haven't been happier since Ross left and we got Scotty. I reckon it would have been a bad 2012 with Lyon.
I think Ross will be ok. He has done what he did with us inherited a great list with injuries holding them back. If he can keep players on the park they will go very well unfortunately. But as far as I'm concerned he had his time and we both move forward better off with out each other.

I still admire Ross, I don't like the way he left our football club but so be it.
I'm not quite sure what it is but I'm still on RL's side over Luke Ball.
I think Freo will play in a grand final in the next three years.

Maybe smart wasn't the best way to describe his actions, maybe "responsible"Teflon wrote:I often find it amusing when people equate behaving unethically with intelligence....like it requires brains to be deceitful......The Fireman wrote:Smart man Ross, he has turned his money problems around and set up a stable future for his family so I guess bitter football fans can please themselves.
