Beau Dowler and Marcus Marigliani amongst about 5 others are training at the club. If they impress they are chance to be picked up in the rookie draft.

I think Danny Hughes (formerly Melbourne) is in that picture as well (4th from right). He had last year at Subiaco, kicked 33 goals in 23 games, but I thought was disappointing in the finals.

He also made WAFL team of the year on HFF. Averaged about 9 marks a game i think. Word is over Perth is was he was also asked to train with Freo.

Did we also ask Horsely? I thought he would be a chance.

With Dowler from what i've heard it's never been about ability more his attitude. May have turned the corner, wasn't very well liked at hawks.

Pretty sure that was Thorp, not Dowler.

Anyways, always thought Dowler was an okay player, not against the Saints using a rookie spot on him.
