Wouldn't have thought his knees would need any extra wear?
I thought he might be doing his re-hab up with Cairnsman as a deckhand, getting a few pointers on goal kicking, my bad.

He can play this bloke - Dowler. Just seems to get injured a lot.Saints94 wrote:He kicks 3 goals in a match (Dowler)
I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.

Interesting that in the article it says "He started the season as a Noble Park forward but finished it superbly in the backline."Saints94 wrote:http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/s ... 6187575011
A replacement for Zac?
There will be a few more Dowler types over the coming few years as teams look to players perhaps who have not realised their potential through injury or circumstance.
Jesse Smith was one example (that didn't eventuate unfortunately) Barloew is another, Silvagni another.
With the Giants and Suns corrupting the draft, and the talent pool inevitably thinned, more Dowlers et al will get a chance.

Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

to clarify ...from the article
"Meanwhile, two more young Zebras, Robbie Ferraro and Rob Cathcart, have joined emerging spearhead Matt Boland in moving to Collingwood's VFL team.
The Magpies have also invited Sandy top-liner Marcus Marigliani to pre-season training.
But he will instead train with the Saints, as will Zebra teammates James Magner, James Hallahan and Michael Lourey."
In fact 3 have gone to collingwood...others have been invited to Pies reserves but did not go...
