Fitness Department(Developments)????
With the recent developments of our footall department has anyone got any goss of possible appointments with reference to our fitness department.
I'm a little concerned with the preseason training schedule starting in the next two weeks and still no appointment of any fitness specialists to over see the beginning of our pre-season campaign????????????????
Go Sainters......................................

I heard GC's Andrew Weller (who was at St K for a while) may return.
Just a whisper. I wouldn't dump so much as a fifty on it tho.
He'd be a good re-get...

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

The new guys are probably making their way across the Nullarbor right now.....
I don't think it's a bad thing by the way to have all these WA people joining. Incredible sporting environment over there, and Watters will need all the loyalty he can get in his first season or two. Reckon the coaches will be pretty tight, which is a positive.

Despite having lost Misson and Rob Jackson, we have retained our sports science guru Paul Montgomery and he will keep things ticking over nicely in that area ...
We also still have our physio's at the club (important as they get to know each player's individual needs).
Peter Burge is highly rated, Hardwick tried to bring him to the Tigers at the start of 2010 and failed ... he's been at the Hawks for about 4-5 years, and before that was with one of the NSW Rugby teams.
Obviously has been an elite sportsman himself (Commonwealth Gold medallist).
Burge's name has disappeared from the Hawthorn staff list ...
Wonder if Pelchen played a role in getting him (if he comes)?

Fast becoming the West Coast Hawks. Does this mean Hawthorn now have to start searching for a Elite Performance Manager with preseason just a week or two away?SainterK wrote:Pinched a few Hawks now
