sorry guys and gals, had a few errands to run in the morning and kids party in the arvo. Then back in the evening to laugh at go the torp

was looking forward to having a run in the social game. Haven't done much since chook and mrs chook look after me when I snapped the achilles a few years ago up at glenferrie

why have the unbeatable saints of 2006 turned into the easybeats of 2011 ??

I watched the essendon guys beat you, and wished you were the team that beat the dees way back then...

what has changed ??

I don't think it's a case of 'we have changed', it seems more to be that the other sides have taken it a whole lot more seriously since.

Kudos to BigMart for turning up and not hiding behind his pseudonym and keyboard.

He cops a lot of s*** on here and while I don't always agree with what he says I value a fair bit of what he contributes, also under his old names.

And sounds like he did a fair job too.

I haven't been at the games since the snapped achilles about 2004/5 I think?

Unfortunately that will be the last forum game I play..... After another social but competitve game the other day I copped a lonergan style knee and it put me in ambulance and many hours in emergency...

3 Broken ribs and Kidney damage resulted, and atm I am layed up and cannot move...

whilst not in serious trouble know the injury did scare me, and at nearly 40 I think any footy I play is not worth the risk....family and work far too important

20 years and I have had
Fractured Vertibrae, Wrist, Leg, ankle, Jaw, Cheekbone, Thumb, 4 fingers, ribs, a knee reco and numerous concussions....gotta love footy

Gotta feeling I will be paying the price passed 60
