Just where are you at?
Just thinking, unfortunately again about this club. Looking back at the years 2004-2011 and beyond.
In 2004 I was undeniably excited by a team that was playing an incredibly attacking, and as it turned out, one way style of football.
Injuries curtailed us - we had direction as a club but were under resourced in a new era of cutting edge medical and talent spotting clubs.
2009 - A truly great year. Such belief - every game, no matter what position we were in, I expected, and I got unbelievable reward from the club. Geelong, unfortunately, were, and are, a great team.
2010 - Pinched myself at the first Grand final, we got there for a start and then to get so close.
2011 - Hindsight is 20/20 but there was a smell. Teams had worked us out pretty well. The game had changed and we were still playing 2009/10 football.
2012 - Excited, Yes the kids, but more so giving the older guys new roles, hopefully more fluent football. Less role players.
I do not subscribe to the era is over theory. I see a revitalised group that can blend defence with attack and hopefully the new boy can do that.

Can't believe we are past 2010 without a Premiership in that decade. Remember on a thread WAY WAY back that I predicted two Premierships before the end of the decade. Thought that was conservative.
Anyway, still think we can give it another go....

But stuff confidence - I'm excited, and that's much more important
Is your avatar Dr Rudi from Life Support??
And your pronunciation is impeccable as usual.
