It was mentioned yesterday that our new coach will sit with Harvey this morning & see what his immediate plans are. Whether he wants to stay at the Saints or is planning to move out.
Any one got any news on this meeting.

If Harves remains at the club as a development coach, I for one will be rapt. It will clearly show that the great man wants to contribute to the club being successful, as well as proving what great strength of character he has in being able to get over the disappointment of missing out on the job, but being able to work with the successful candidate for senior coach.
If Harves decides to walk away from the club I'll be disappointed but will wish him every success.
Simple as that really.

How do you know he can't accept it? Being upset about not getting to the last round of interviews is not the same as not accepting it. Give him a break. Yes he spoke very well on Geoff Hutchinson's program this morning. Agree with what defacto said above. Said 'the ball was in Harves court', it is up to Harvey to make the decision. He said Harves has been told he is very much wanted at St Kilda and they will do everything possible to develop him in a coaching capacity. He said that Harvey will always be welcome at the Club if he decided to go as he is part of the tradition of St Kilda.
Guess what, thank God not a 'you know' or any other annoying speeech non-fluencies were uttered from his lips like the previous coach. You could understand what he was actually saying!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope he stays and gets over his disappointment, Sanderson did when Scott got the job, so am hoping we can achieve the same result with Harv's.
What does it say about the club when at Geelong they want to stay & contribute & at the saints they want to bail out at any opportunity !!! very sad if he chose to leave IMHO, thought harv's was better than that, anyway he hasn't gone yet so here's hoping.
