JUST HEARD ON SEN BUT UNCONFIRMED!!
The selection panel is in a meeting right now. They wouldn't confirm, but it is possible that they are making the final decision. Kevin Bartlett was extremely confident that Scott Watters would get the job.
Right now was around 2 pm apparently...god this wait is getting tedious...just want to know now !!!

Anyone of the 3 wouldn't surprise now...can be confident they ticked the most boxes...all outstanding candidates !bobmurray wrote:Why does it seem to be between those 2....sainterinsydney wrote:Seems to be between Richo and Watters.
Didn't the club re-state it was down to a final 3

But the media has been giving us the new coach, well 3 different new coaches, for the last 7 days.saint patrick wrote:Courtesy of saints footy on Facebook

How can they only be deciding now?
Does the media sometimes make things up or something?

We gained a draft pick, and lost little for it is my take...SainterK wrote:Well there is a pretty decent reason to make a decision now, and not take their time.
Lost one kid to another club, could lose another.
If the decision is made, I hope that person has already picked up the phone and pleaded our case to Walsh.

Re: The latest on SEN re our next coach
If the panel was meeting at 2.00pm today that would suggest that were/are finalizing their recommendation to the Board. The Board would then need to discuss the recommendation and then approve it. With the Board being largely professional people, they are unlikely to get together until Monday, meaning the announcement will be either Tuesday or Wednesday !!saint patrick wrote:Courtesy of saints footy on Facebook

Wouldn't it make more sense to meet Sunday rather than Monday when they will be doing their real jobs.Eastern wrote:If the panel was meeting at 2.00pm today that would suggest that were/are finalizing their recommendation to the Board.
