If the AFL were to say all talks stop til Monday, how are they going to know whether clubs are talking to each other or not? Do they get investigators to follow around all officials from all 18 clubs. Do they bug all their phones?
It's just not possible so it makes sense that talks would be allowed over the weekend.
That's all I'm saying.
Why would you say that? The trade period ends at 2pm Monday. Is there some embargo on weekend discussions, or do you just like posting?
