Thanks Ross and all the best
I would like to send out a genuine thank you to Ross Lyon.
Ross has copped alot of criticism and maybe he deserves it but as a saints supporter who has witnessed alot of hard times i thank you Ross for getting us into 2 consecutive grand finals.
2009 was ever so close and will always burn in my heart as the 1 that got away yes Ross was defensive yes Ross didn't play the kids but to reach consecutive grand finals he must of known a little about what he was doing.
Yes i hated the chip chip chip boring footy and i am so excited for 2012 and the new coach and hopefully some attacking flair but i will not bag Ross for what he did for our club.
Thank you Ross you was ever so close and all the best.
Bring on 2012 and the new boss

The closer we are to getting someone new, the closer I am to not wanting to spew when I hear his name. I am glad he got what he did from us but i am really seeing it as having run it's course now. I still hope he suffers from some kind of hideous disfigurement from the stress that he is under though. Please let freo finish lower on the ladder.LENNY LEADS THE WAY wrote:I would like to send out a genuine thank you to Ross Lyon.

Nope, not so gracious. Cannot wait to see him fail. He has not an ounce of integrity or feeling. I pity his wife.
Get stuffed Lyon. You are a dog.
Btw , I am bitter about the 2 lost years of 07 and 08 when our list was good but he was determined to turn our wonderful attacking style into his dour defensive crap. Granted, 2009 we were very good but maybe he cost us premierships rather than almost getting us one. Thats how I see it now.

The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Ross
You had no Plan B as a coach.
And no Plan B as an investor.
Invested everything on spinning the wheel.
But in the end the numbers didn't drop for you.
So you've snuck off purely to seek money.
Your integrity and reputation is in tatters.
I'm looking forward to the day Freo sack you.
(Though I'm sure you'll make them pay you out!)
Yes the ride was fun.
But Good Riddance to you.

The bloke was a dud and our players and the assistant coaches and Saints footy department made him look good...Our team had great talent and he simply couldn't inspire and lead them to greatness...
But stuff it, I'll reserve my final judgement for a few years...lets just wait and see if he can prove himself..or if he just fades into obscurity like so many other duds before him

FFS Ross was a very good coach. He wasnt a dud coach. Amazing how peoples opinions change of someone so quickly. Stop being so bias and realise we lost a very good coach that took us so close to the ultimate.Scollop wrote:The bloke was a dud and our players and the assistant coaches and Saints footy department made him look good...Our team had great talent and he simply couldn't inspire and lead them to greatness...
