Sentanta, Bower, Lucas are names I've heard on the table at Carlton.

No thanks, no thanks, and no thanks...
Gram better than all 3 put together...
Enough Bower types already, got our own Irishman, and Lucas very average...

Carlton would be insane to trade Lucas for Gram.

Sure.
Just who I've heard is up for trade.
Pelch/Bains may be able to sound out someone else, who knows.

Setanta can kick better than Gram, has a massive tank and a really good contested mark. Would not be a bad trade?

What about pick 22?
Or Gram and pick 25 for pick 22 and pick 44?

Lucas would be be the one for me out of that lot. Shows plenty of promise, reckon he will be a good player in the not too distant future.

I'd take Setanta.
That way he won't kick a bag against us like always, and Grammy will probably deliver the ball lace out to him...
They walk amongst us...

I'd love Lucas but no chance of getting him. I'd reckon we're looking at Bower who wants out at Carlton.

Surely we'd do Gram for Lucas.
He's about 7 years younger and looks very promising.
But if Gram's a required player I can't see us trading him out...

Of course we would however there's no chance that Carlton will get rid of him. He's all class and a first round pick.

The Blues are approaching salary cap problems also. If they want a player swap for Gram then it would be someone on decent money.

Very keen on trying to get Bower with some late picks.
He's 23, 192cm and can play full-back. Restricted by injuries but crying out for an opportunity. Just three games in 2011 but he's done his apprenticeship and could really make an impression in the coming years.
Has proven he can play in the past. Potentially seven-eight years left and an instant fit in defence.
Take him over Dawson in a flash.

take bower and trade dawson to freo for a second rounder. Would not complaign about that. Get his fit and firing and he has the ability to be a top 5 backman in the AFL.

Would love that to happen but no way we'd get that out of them, surely.
