oh yeah thats true. good point.

but still seems bizarre in terms of order/timing.

"so scott - we havent decided on the job yet - but can u give us a preference for who you would like working for us in a directors position in the vent you get it."

that part doesnt make any sense.

Still haven't heard one pundit/expert/football person or the like explain what a director of coaching actually does.

If you appoint a coach that needs to be directed how to coach, then why not just hire the other guy?

It seems like a bit of a trend that all clubs suddenly feel like they need to latch onto. Bomber Thompson oversaw Hird's coaching this season but they still ended up in the same position (more or less) on the ladder.

There is no longer any such thing as a reliable source.
Even HP have changed their recipe!

There seems to be some confusion with his side of the story about what actually happened in Bali. Wont be good for him if it is found out he lied on Melbourne radio yesterday.
Some saying his kids weren't as innocent as he suggested. :o :o

+ 1 . of all the hundreds of thousands of aussies that go to bali - this guy gets in a fight.

he has form. he is a known bogan/fighter. very much doubt he was quietly & innocently playing a game of chess.

Deans a decent bloke intense but very smart he also is a strong leader the kind of guy u want in the trenches with you... Also as loyal as theycome

Another unfortunate incident?
Poor old Dean - just playing chess and keeps getting in fight.
He sounds like a knob. At very least his son is a knob.

Again there are no facts in that .. Wow his son got into wright with another 15 yearold over a girl big whoop and then an argument broke out wow massive story that one ... The bloke is highly regarded in footy he is very very passionate and is a great person for bringing teams together ... We could do a lot worse then dean

Another unfortunate incident?

right-o right-o. im not going to get in a blue with st trav ove some bloke who isnt even a saints player or coach.
hes obvioously a mate of yours.
might be a genius and a top bloke for all i know. just dont give me the "condemned by the media" story. never seems to happen to any other coaches on their holidays.

id love you in my court case.

Judge: "But sir there are several witnesses and your client Con Goro has several prior convictions to his name"

St Trav Barrister: "There are no facts, where are the facts? my client is innocent and a victim of a media vendetta".

Result: Con Goro walks a free man!
