2012 flag odds !!
The bookies have us 5th in betting for next years flag behind Collingwood, Geelong, Hawthorn and Carlton. The first thought I had when I heard this on Gameday this morning was; How can they even frame a market before the FIXture comes out. Then I thought , hold on. They probably have inside info on this.
So, going by that we will probably get to play Gold Coast, Port,Brisbane, Fremantle & GWS twice, meaning it will be a fantastic FOOTBALL FIXture, but a COMMERCIALLY disasterous FIXture !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

Seriously? With Lenny to return, another pre-season under the belts of Siposs, Cripps, Ledger et al and everybody else up and excited and eager to please the new coach (whoever that may be)?Cairnsman wrote:I'll bet my left leg that we will be bottom four in 2012.
It may take a while to get accustomed to a whole new game plan, but Lyon doesn't take what he taught this group with him, they retain that IP and learn from a whole new source...
With Roo (touch wood) recuperated and able to move more freely?
Jimmy G back (at some point) and adding that much-missed composure to the backline?
Guys like Stevo, Armo, Big Mac etc all ready to make the next step in their development with their confidence up and knowing that they can succeed at this level?
With - please, please, please, touch wood - a summer free of controversy and ludicrous distractions and a year to have gotten used to their new surrounds at Seaford?
Anything more than 7 wins will get you above the bottom 4, and you don't think we can achieve that with our current group? The core of which nearly went through a season undefeated two seasons ago?
Strange...
The future's so bright I've got to wear shades...
